Well now that I have posted our Halloween pictures, I should probably post our Thanksgiving ones as well. We had a lot of fun this year because we went to Mesa!! I was so excited to go!!
This is one thing I remember from when I was little. Whenver I would see this on the mountain, I knew that we were getting close!! Its for airplanes from way back in the day.
Going to the desert for Thanksgiving is one of my favorite things ever! All growing up, I loved Thanksgiving even more than Christmas. We stake out a place in the desert and have lots of food, horses, quads (referred to as four-wheelers in Utah) and lots and lots of family. This year we were worried about it being cancelled because it had been raining but we decided to tough it out and only had a little sprinkle for a few minutes. At the end of the night we planned family activities for the rest of the weekend. It was a pretty busy week!!

We just got back from Mesa and I saw that same Phoenix sign and I thought it was kind of odd and wondered about it...thanks for the explanation! Hope you guys are doing well.
I have never ever seen that Phoenix with the arrow... but it's really cool! I'm pretty sure I've found your blog before, but I haven't been online - blogger style for a LONG time. It's fun to catch up on your story a little bit! :)
